Presentation Schemes and No-show Policy

Oral presentations

All the oral sessions will take place in room A-E in Kasugano International Forum, Nara. The oral session rooms are equipped with projectors and conference PCs (OS : Windows 10). PowerPoint 2016 and Adobe Reader are installed on the PCs. Therefore, presenters are recommended to bring a Windows 10 compatible PowerPoint file or Adobe PDF file on your memory stick. Please upload your presentation file in a folder labeled your session number and check your presentation on the conference PC in advance. Please use your program number and your family name as the presentation file name, for example, “MoA1-1_tanaka”.
It is also possible to connect your own PC to the projector, however, it may not project your slide properly on the screen if the screen resolution of your PC does not match to the conference projector. We recommend you to connect your PC and check your presentation on the screen in advance. The connector type of our projector is D-sub15. Please do not forget to bring your own conversion cable if you use PC with HDMI interface, Apple PC, and so on.
The time allotted to each oral presentation will be:

  • Invited talks : 30 min. (including 5 min. discussion)
  • Contributed papers : 15 min. (including 3 min. discussion)

Poster presentations

The poster session will take place at the Reception Hall 1, on 2F of the Main building. The poster board is approximately 90-cm wide and 210-cm high. The poster boards are consecutively numbered, and presenters are requested to post their poster according to the allotted number given in the poster session part of the program. Please display the paper title, author names, and affiliations on the poster. Poster can be displayed from 12:30 on each day of presentation (May 20th or 21st), and all presenters must display the posters no later than 16:00. All the posters must be removed by the presenters at the end of poster sessions (18:00).

No-show Policy

Please note that one of the authors must present their paper at the assigned session. The papers that are not presented (No-show papers) are regarded as withdrawn, and will not be shown on the Final Scientific Program of CSW2019.
